My roles
As a very politically active young man, I wear many hats, all contributing to society and public service with a focus on using local information and stats to make sure I really pull in ideas that many may forget:
Youth MP for East Sussex: Taking young people's views from East Sussex to Westminster.
Member of European Youth Parliament for the United Kingdom: Fostering positive political relationships between young people in the UK, European countries, and the European Union.
Deputy Head Boy, Head Student - Liturgical at St Richard's Catholic College: Co-Leading the Student Senior Leadership Team and Leading the Student Liturgical Life team at my secondary school. Continuously looking out for my peers.
A passionate, confident & caring human being 😊🌹: Being a young leader and a public servant, I need to ensure that I am diligently working for the people, by the people, and always caring for them with empathy and with my heart.

The most challenging role
I find being the Youth MP for East Sussex the most challenging. This is where I really have to put in work to properly and truly improve the lives of young people in my constituency for good. I always make sure to ask them if they have any concerns about their local area and its development and I ask them what I can do to improve this for them - from campaigning and protesting to speaking with Members of Parliament. This aligns with my focus on using local information sourced from local surveys to aid my campaigns.
Contributing to society
My roles allow me to understand what people need doing and then figure out an appropriate solution and time scale for these improvements to become feasible, all based on stats from local surveys.
Making a difference
I spoke up about Eastbourne Borough Councils disastrous budget that would see the only popular, well-used and heavily loved leisure centre, the Sovereign Centre, drastically cut back and made virtually inaccessible to thousands of constituents. After I had done this, and encouraged many others to do so too, the council rethought their plans and secured a new provider for the centre that would allow it to partially re-open before what will hopefully be a full re-opening and a return to normal.
